Manufactured with 100% virgin ethylene glycol. Never blended with other glycol streams (and does not contain recycled glycol) as a means of ensuring maximum fluid lifetime. DOW® fluids are specially formulated with heavy-duty industrial inhibitor packages that prevent corrosion. The inhibitors are easily maintained, long lasting and replenishable, which means intervals between fluid changeouts are extended and fluid expense is minimised.

DOWTHERM™ 4000 heat transfer fluid features the highest maximum use temperature of any glycol-based heat transfer fluid.. This fluid is specially formulated with inhibitors to offer greater thermal stability and corrosion protection. The fluid is dyed fluorescent orange to aid in leak detection. Solutions in water provide freeze protection to below -50°C and up to 175°C
